Brett Shaw
Brett Shaw is the church planting pastor of Bozeman Reformed Baptist Church. He was commissioned and sent out as a church planter in August 2023 from Sycamore Reformed Baptist Church, in East Moline, Illinois, where he has been an elder since 2016.
Brett was raised in a Roman Catholic home until he was 17 when, by God’s sovereign grace, He converted through the gospel. He came to reformed convictions in 2010 and subsequently became a member of a reformed Baptist church in southern California. Brett graduated from Westminster Seminary California and the Institute of Reformed Baptist Studies (IRBS) in 2015, before being called as an elder at Sycamore. Brett also spent three years ministering in England, helping with a church revitalization and the building of a new confessional association. He was commissioned in August 2023 to plant BRBC.
He has been married to Shelly since 2006 and they have four children, Owen, Calvin, Geneva and Benjamin. It is now a great joy of Brett’s to serve the Lord in Bozeman in order to see a church of redeemed sinners established for the sake of Christ. His desire is that our great Triune God would be glorified through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
