IRBS on the Road Sola Scriptura: God’s Precious Gift

Dr. James Renihan seeks to demonstrate from the Bible itself how the principle of Sola Scriptura should be understood and applied. It consists of three sessions. The first asks and answers two questions: “What is inspiration?” and “What is Scripture?”, the second explores the meaning of the phrase Sola Scriptura and its implications, and the third examines what the Bible itself says about the usefulness of “the light of nature”.

Dr. James Renihan is President and Professor of Historical Theology at the International Reformed Baptist Seminary (IRBS). His academic work has focused on the Second London Baptist Confession and the broader Puritan theological context from which it arose.
